- Congratulations to Donna Lang of Lorenzo Walker Technical High School – Collier County High School Teacher of the Year for 2013. She is an Exceptional Student Education (ESE) inclusion teacher.

- Congratulations to Khris Betten-Jutasi, 9th grade World Culture Geography teacher, who has been selected as a 2013 Golden Apple recipient. Mrs. J., as students like to call her, has a keen sense of what it takes to motivate high school students. With her positive attitude, she approaches all aspects of teaching with eager anticipation of making the curriculum come alive for students.
- Attention Seniors! Do you need assistance with ACT/SAT applications? College applications? Scholarships? Every Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Counselor Miss Bruce has “Senior Sessions” in Room 4-107 Computer Lab. Please note: If you need assistance and are not available on Thursday after school, another after school day/time will be arranged. Please complete the “Request to See School Counselor” form at the LWTHS Reception Desk and briefly explain the preferred day/time.
