Medical Coding
The AAPC’s classroom training courses encapsulate the latest information related to medical coding or insurance reimbursement and are taught by expert instructors. Students in our medical coding classes learn the theory of medical coding, gain an understanding of medical coding fundamentals and incorporate this by using a laboratory practicum to work medical coding reports. All classes are taught by AAPC-approved instructors who have been trained in our exclusive Professional Medical Coding Curriculum (PMCC).

Medical Billing
The Medical Biller is trained to work with health-related information and the systems used to collect, process, store, retrieve, and communicate information for the support of operations, management, and decision making with a medical facility or related industry. As computerization of information advances, the Medical Biller is vital to medical coding, computerized billing and patient care data analysis.
The Medical Billing program is designed to provide a sound educational environment for instruction and training to equip its graduates for entry-level positions as Medical Billers.

Phlebotomy
Continue your education or improve your skills.
Day Classes M-F 8:00-2:30
Starting: Fall and Spring
Approx 165 hours (6 weeks)
State approved phlebotomy training provided by experienced instructors. In this program the student will learn proper venipuncture techniques, handling and storage of specimens, laboratory processes and infection control principles. Make a difference in proper diagnosis – become a phlebotomist.

IV Therapy
Continue your education or improve your skills. Become IV certified.
Day Classes M-F 8:00-2:30
Starting: Every August, October and June
33 hours
RNs, LPNs and graduate nurses welcome in this state approved course for continuing education or initial certification. Licensed participants receive 33 CEUs.
