Creative Perfection
Today’s auto collision and refinishing technicians must be trained in the various aspects of the construction and repair of the modern automobile body and framework. Automobile production uses materials and manufacturing techniques that demand that the auto body repair technician be competent in metalworking, welding, uni-body construction, surface preparation, refinishing, and accurate repair estimating. The Auto Collision and Refinishing program here at LWIT prepares its graduates for these tasks. Learning is reinforced by continuous applications of auto collision repair classroom lessons to the actual repair of automobiles, vans, and light trucks. The students use safe and modern repair equipment in all phases of their training.
