and the Accreditation Review Council on Education in Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting, this nationally accredited program allows students to take the NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist examination. Work side by side with surgeons in the hospital or ambulatory surgery setting.
Student Work Policy
All student activities associated with the curriculum, especially while students are completing his/her clinical rotation will be educational in nature. Students will not be receiving any monetary remuneration during this educational experience, nor will he/she be substituted for hired staff personnel in the capacity of a surgical technologist.
The minimal clinical case requirement is 125 cases. Case type is defined by the Core Curriculum for Surgical Technology, 5e.
