Learn the patterns of growth and development in a progressive environment. Students participate in a working child care facility on campus- Learning Partner Early Education and Care Center.Start here to learn how to manage preschool, toddler and infant children in our most advanced child care setting. This program articulates credit toward an Associate in Science at Edison State College.

Child Care Center Operations (Director’s Management Course)
Evening Classes M and W 6:00-9:15 PM
Starting August 2010
45 Hours or 4.5 CEU’s
The purpose of this program is to prepare students to become a child care director/administrator. Students will acquire knowledge in the areas of organizations leadership, financial management, legal obligation and responsibilities, programming, marketing strategies, assessment, monitoring practices, observations, referrals and collaborations of programs with families and community resources. This course can be used as the management course required for the Directors Credential or acceptable CEU’s from the Department of Children and Families.
