Coming to Lorenzo Walker, I had high expectations due to all the talk and excitement throughout the first two years, but as we watched the school grow into what is now a marvelous education center, I never would have thought all of this would come together the way it did.  I can honestly say that Lorenzo Walker has exceeded my expectations. My post secondary course is Architectural Drafting, with Mr. Kirkpatrick Jervis as teacher. 

I have learned so much about architecture and everything that it takes to build a house from the ground up, all the details, and specifications. I’ve learned to use AutoCAD 2010, although it is very complicated and rough to learn, with my instructor’s help I have learned everything I need to know to confidently walk out of here as a certified Architectural Design Drafter."

"As I walk away from Lorenzo Walker, I could not be more satisfied with my high school as well as with the technical course I attended at Lorenzo Walker Institute of Technology. I took Architectural Drafting at the institute for two school years, in which I have learned many of the mechanisms of designing a home.

This course is filled with hands on activities all year long, such as hand-drawing plans and doing them in AutoCAD 2010, a program used by most firms in the Architectural field. You get the opportunity to work with your peers and help each other out as a very independent course, but the marvelous teacher for this course - Mr. Kirkpatrick Jervis- will help you develop your skills and improve your weakness as well.  I say nothing but the truth when I say that this course has prepared me to help me to develop skills and knowledge to continue my passion for Architecture."
